2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany). Each time this website is accessed, the server automatically records technically necessary data (server logs), including IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and operating system.
Processing takes place to ensure stable operation and to prevent abuse, based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Log files are automatically deleted after 7 days at the latest.
A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.
3. Contact form
If you use the contact form on this website, the data you enter (name, email address, message) is transmitted to me by email and stored in order to process your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
To protect against automated spam, a hidden form field (honeypot) and a limit on the number of submissions per IP address and time period are used. Your IP address is processed briefly for this purpose and then automatically deleted.
Your contact form data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies or any third party analytics or tracking services.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and objection (Art. 21 GDPR) regarding your personal data. Simply contact me by email.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, typically the one in your habitual place of residence or the authority responsible for me: the Saxon Commissioner for Data Protection and Transparency, Dresden, Germany (www.datenschutz.sachsen.de).
